Domain Names

Every website needs a domain name of some kind. A professional business needs its own domain name to portray the correct image. You don't want a professional website spoilt with an address like http://websites.www.cheapdomainnames.org.uk/yourcompanyname

You're much better of with www.yourcompanyname.co.uk !!!

Domain names can be cheap to buy yourself. However I would only recommend this route if you really know what you are doing.

I provide a professional domain name registration service which includes:

• Purchasing the name
• Configuring the name for your website
• Directing your emaills
• Ensuring the name is routinely renewed *
• Ensuring you are the correct legal owner **.

Notes:

* - You don't "own" a domain name for life, it has to be renewed periodicaly, usually every two years. If you forget to renew it, then you WILL LOSE IT. And if you lose it, you can be sure someone else will buy it then try to sell back to you for an inflated sum.

** - You will be the legal owner of all domain names I register on your behalf. I will be the nominated "administrator", but you will always have full legal rights to the name. Note, some registration companies put themselves as the legal owner, meaning you have no right to the name should the working relationship break down.
