Prevent Spam

Spammers use automatic programs that scan teh wide world web looking for email addresses and online forms.

Some spammers use forms such as an enquiry form to send spam from unsuspecting websites. By forcing a genuine user to input a code that can only be read by a human, the website can be sure that a human initiated the enquiry rather than an automatic program.

Wherever an email address is used throughout any of my websites, it is presented to the screen using a javascript technique. This method "scrambles" the address so that automatic spammers cannot read it, but human beings can.
