Corporate Social Responsibility

I am not an eniviro-nerd, but I do believe in taking all reasonable measures to help with preservation of the environment.

The policies of both myself and my business are:

• Routinely pay for the planting of trees within the Woodland Trust. (For every new customer, I make a donation which is sufficient for the trust to manage 5.45 acres of woodland).
• Keep all car journeys to a minimum and always drive sensibly to maximise fuel efficiency
• Try to group together visits to customers in the same geographical area to reduce journeys
• Recycle all used paper - confidential information is shredded and used as pet bedding. All other paper is often first reused before recycling it, usually by using the back as notepaper!
• Reuse and recycle all packaging and other materials that can be recycled. Batteries etc are disposed of correctly
• All equipment is switched off overnight
• Select suppliers who also demonstrate an environmental awareness
• All transactions are carried out electronically where possible to reduce the use of paper and postal resources.
