Hosting

Once you have a website it needs to be stored somewhere on the internet, this procedure is called "Hosting". We provide advice on the standard of hosting service you require, which may be from using your own ISP (Virgin, Freeserve etc) to fully professional e-commerce hosting from say Demon. "ISP" stands for Internet Service Provider, it is their computer you dial when you want to connect your PC to the internet. We can advise on selection of a suitable ISP. [back]

Domain Names

If you have decided you want your own website, you need to call it something appropriate. "Domain Name" is the web or www address that is typed into your browser near the top, e.g. www.your-company-name.co.uk. We can provide an authoritative check on if your name is still available, and if so register it with the correct bodies. [back]
